EmailReady field guide
How to find leftover links and tracking across email templates
A campaign can look finished while one template still points to an example page, last month’s landing page, or a different tracking value. Compare the final source against the destinations you actually approved.

Write the campaign policy first
List the exact landing-page hosts and UTM values that should be shared. Keep exceptions explicit: an unsubscribe or account-management destination may belong to the sending platform rather than your campaign domain.
Review every final template together
EmailReady can compare up to 20 HTML files locally. It identifies empty, relative, placeholder, example, unsafe, and unexpected-host destinations; duplicate tracking keys; and differences from the UTM expectations you entered. It does not visit the URLs or claim they resolve.
- Load the final templates, not screenshots or forwarded messages.
- Apply the approved host and UTM expectations once.
- Review each file’s action and manual-review groups.
- Enter a complete destination only when you know the exact replacement.
Leave dynamic and signed destinations alone
Merge tags, template expressions, signed URLs, special-purpose links, and duplicate query keys can depend on platform behavior. EmailReady preserves them and calls for manual review instead of choosing a value or rewriting the query.
Prove the delivered message
Export the reviewed source and report, then send final tests through the real sending platform. Open the destinations from the delivered messages and confirm platform-added tracking. Source-level consistency is evidence, not an inbox, legal, accessibility, or deliverability certification.
