Bank statement converter

How do I convert a bank statement PDF to CSV?

The Bank Statement Converter turns supported native-text CAD chequing statement PDFs into checked CSV and Excel files in your browser. It preserves transaction order, exact cents and source-page links, then verifies the statement math before download. Qualification and review are free; reusable outputs cost CAD $9 per eligible batch.

  • Qualify before paying
  • Review every extracted row
  • Download only after the math agrees

One statement job, five visible stages

Know where you are, what was checked and what to do next.

  1. 01

    Add the original PDFs

Choose or drop up to ten native-text CAD chequing statements. Nothing is uploaded.

  2. 02

    Qualify the evidence

The tool checks the layout, page coverage, statement period and printed controls before payment.

  3. 03

    Review rows and math

Inspect every transaction, exact-cent totals and the highlighted source line. Arrow keys move through rows.

  4. 04

Correct only what the source proves

Record the original value, replacement and reason. Undo is exact; balancing entries are never invented.

  5. 05

    Choose the right output

Download CSV, typed Excel, a review PDF, a labelled QBO preview or the complete evidence package.

Financial trust

Built for financial work that has to survive review.

The converter makes its limits visible instead of hiding uncertainty behind a success screen.

Local by default
Statement bytes, filenames, balances and descriptions stay in browser memory. Checkout receives no statement content.
Exact, explainable math
Opening balance, money in, money out and closing balance remain clickable down to source rows and transaction IDs.
Fail closed
Scans, ambiguous layouts, incomplete periods, failed controls and unsupported accounts stop before paid export.
Source-linked corrections
Every correction preserves the extracted original, the highlighted source location, the reason and an exact undo path.

Straightforward pricing

Check everything free. Pay $9 CAD only for reusable files.

One payment covers one eligible batch of up to ten statements. Review the extraction, controls and source evidence first; buy only when you want the downloads.

Purchase recovery restores download authority for 30 days. It cannot restore PDFs that never left your device.

  • Per-account CSV files
  • Typed Excel review workbooks
  • Reconciliation PDFs
  • QBO-format preview CSVs
  • Manifest and integrity hashes

Know the boundary before you begin

Which statements work, and what happens if one fails?

Native-text CAD chequing account PDFs work when their transaction table, statement period and printed controls match a supported structure. The tool names a failed file and reason, keeps already qualified files and lets you replace only the problem PDF. Support is structural, not a promise about every bank template.

How do I know whether my PDF is native text?

Open the original download and try selecting a transaction description. A scan behaves like one flat image. The free qualification also detects image-only statements before payment.

Do you upload or store my statements?

No. Parsing, review, correction and output generation happen locally in the browser. Closing or clearing the page removes the working session.

Is the QBO file a journal entry or direct sync?

No. It is a carefully labelled three-column bank-transaction import preview. It does not categorize, post, synchronize or complete a bank reconciliation.

What if a supported statement does not work?

Email support@onepurposetools.com with the error message, a short description and, if useful, a redacted screenshot; do not send an original bank statement by ordinary email. We will investigate and improve compatibility where possible. If the problem occurs after payment, we will also help with a refund.

Can purchase recovery restore my statements?

No. Recovery can restore paid download authority for 30 days. Reselect the original PDFs because they were never uploaded or stored.

Start with the fictional statement. Bring your own PDF when the method makes sense.

The sample is free, uses the same parser and downloads the same evidence package as an eligible customer batch.
